About WhenKit

Time tools with answers you can verify.

WhenKit is an independent collection of browser-based tools for everyday time and date questions.

What we build

WhenKit provides timers, time arithmetic, calendar calculations and countdowns to widely observed dates. Each tool is designed to give the answer first, explain the calculation and provide a useful next step without requiring an account.

Calculations run in your browser. Time-based results show both local and UTC values where that distinction matters, while date calculations use calendar arithmetic instead of treating every day as a fixed number of hours.

How event dates are maintained

Fixed dates are calculated from their calendar rule. Dates that depend on religious calendars, official announcements or astronomical observations are stored and reviewed individually. Event pages identify the rule, the date certainty and an external source so readers can verify details before making important plans.

WhenKit is a planning utility, not an official calendar authority. Regional observance, public-holiday status and exact astronomical timing can differ, so the source notes on each event page take precedence over a generic countdown.
